US Economy & England Riots Summary
Economics
Standard and Poor (S&P) is the credit agency that lowered the USA’s credit rating, which has created panic to investors globally forcing stocks to go down and people to move into gold, and this is why we see gold going up as fast as it is going. The head of S&P says that they may yet again lower the rating further. Both the downgrading of the US’s credit rating and the Federal Reserve’s continual lowering of the interest rates simply further weaken the US economy and the US dollar. How is a recovery possible when most of a nations industries reposition their headquarters overseas while leaving the people of that nation jobless? Production is the key to a successful economy, and the US does not produce any longer and have not done so in a long time. Moreover, more debt does not lead to a successful economy; it never has and never will if one would simply look at history.
England Riots
The England riots started because a police officer shot a man, but now, people are using that as an excuse to rob stores all over the country because there is so much poverty these days. Reporters have spoken with looters who have stated on record that they are doing it because they are broke and poor. The police were told to stand down for the first few days as they watched people burn buildings, attack other people, and steal from shops. The only reason they would be told to stand down is the same reason it is done all over the world: by having the situation become worse, the police get the support of the people to use more force, build a bigger budget for a bigger police force (with bigger weapons) and increases taxes to do it all. Further, when the problem becomes big enough, which it now has become because the police have let it, they can now call military rule (Martial Law) with unlimited power to the government (with curfews). Now, because the problem has become so bad, the people are begging the police to use any weapon they want and will support them for protection from the ‘bad’ people. Polls have shown that people are fully supporting weapons that they were once against. This strategy has been seen and used for a very long time: just think of the riots in the past in any part of the world – take a look at how the riot police wait and stand down. Why have they decided to only start shooting people on day 4 of the riots instead of day 1? Only disarmed sectors of the world have these issues; the areas where the people are armed do not have these situations.

The head of Standard & Poor’s sovereign ratings said Sunday that the agency may downgrade the U.S. again.
“Given the economic and political situation in the U.S., which will we see, an upgrading back to AAA or further downgrades?” Fox News’ Chris Wallace asked David Beers.
“We have a negative outlook on the rating and that means we think that the risk currently for the rating are to the downside,” Beers said.
